I feel like too much is being added. My last marathon game froze. How does the most simple game on snes crash on modern phone hardware? I tried saving and quiting, restarting and I reinstalled the app as a last ditch effort. Now I have to reset the controls and play 3 minute mode a bit until I can unlock the classic experience I came here for.

This is the worst attempt at a cash grab I've ever seen. Pros: Tetris actually works for 1 game a day before it hits you with 2+ ads Cons: Offline mode is broken/doesn't work. Lots and LOTS of ads. Monthly subscription service for basic stuff. Expensive boosts. Uses location with out asking/no way to disable location data used. Bad unaccessible UI. The list of cons keeps going but I'm going to hit the limit... DONT DOWNLOAD!

Tetris is naturally fun, but this version makes it pay to win, as well as spamming you with ads after every single game. even if you do a quick reset, you must face a 10 second add before you can continue. The only way you can make it stop is by paying them to temporarily stop spamming you with ads.

10Jun22, game is unplayable. Repeated "unable to connect to server" messages even with full LTE internet connection verified. Server connection message also occurs in Offline mode every 10-15 sec. When it was working: gameplay was OK. Controlls took getting used to, touches/swipes in different areas of the screen seem to mean different things. Annoying, small close button for ads is often invisible. Ads fail to close themselves. Offline play required phone to be in airplane mode.

Ads are extremely long and are required between each game. To get rid of adds, you can to buy coins and then spend them on 30-days of no ads. Complete money grab and not worth it. I'd be much happier if I could spend a 1-time $5 to remove ads for all time. Besides the ad issue, I like the app. The ads ruin it for me.

The ads pop up every game and have a very small skip/close button that is entirely too easy to miss and get kicked out to the Play Store. The game controls are pretty unintuitive and uncomfortable to use. The default gesture controls result in frequent accidental rotations, and misdrops. The onscreen controls are better, but you have to be extremely accurate with the button presses as they are also small with no way to enlarge them. Uninstalling for no controller support.

It's classic Tetris, almost like it was from the 1980s (especially the Marathon mode). What more can you ask for? One thing is that if you get used to the touch/swipe controls (which I prefer since they're faster), I recommend you stick to them and not turn on the on-screen controls. Otherwise, you WILL be hard-dropping pieces when you mean to hold them. I almost guarantee it. Other than that, Tetris purists will be pretty happy with this one.

Do love the game, it remasters a classic without changing a large amount of the original with adding new features to make it fun. The main issue with me is that the UI is slow and unresponsive at times. The gameplay is 5 stars, but the slow UI makes it frustrating to play.

I wish there was more support for us on-screen control players. You know what this game needs? It needs more setting for its controls. Like the buttons transparency and we should be able to move them around to our comfort level because personally since I have small hands I would want to put it more on the top. And I hate the swipe mode so much. Tetris is my comfort game and I would 100% spend money on it if I could actually play it.

Controls are awkward. OFFLINE MODE DOES NOT WORK. I downloaded this specifically for offline use on the subway and it offers "offline mode" but then claims "connection found", offers choice between offline mode and restart, but will not start in offline mode. Often stuck on "checking for connection". All total I've spent about 90 minutes reading these error messages and 3 minutes playing.
