Everything that I would expect and hope for from a pet tracking device/app. I had a poor experience with a different companies tracker and Tractive as been a complete 180 experience. The battery lasts for days, it actually updates my pets location over the course of the day. it gives notifications when she leaves/enters safe zones, offers the ability to live track her to get real time location, and has the ability to make noise/light up for when you need some extra assistance.

Works great. Much more frequent updates than competitor products. Simply attaches to a one inch collar and stays attached very well. My dog is a nut and he hasn't knocked it off yet. Collar piece and subscription is all you need. No extra hardware or bases to troubleshoot. Well thought out product. Only thing I'd like to see is a real life proof case with metal slots on each side to slide onto a one inch collar.

I had a lot of criticism about the 'live' feature a month back and how I couldn't get it to function like it should during an emergency. Well, I just picked my dog up in a neighborhood I've never been before off a man's lawn. I take it all back. I would of had a hell of a time finding him if it wasn't for this tracking collar. Days just turned into minutes of searching. Also, the social features are pretty nice with friends.

Just what we needed! Tracks our very active young dog when off leash. We press the sound icon when he's out of sight and he comes right back. We love the waterproof feature because he LOVES the water. The battery holds its charge, especially since it has a power saving mode for a defined area around our home. The tracker has stayed attached to his collar so far, even when he rolls on the ground, runs in brush, and swims.

it's a really great device and has already been very useful but there are a couple of things I would change about it. the sound the device makes I almost can't hear, the light on it is hard to see because it only aims in One direction, and the charging cable is proprietary.

I'd give 5 stars but the battery life isn't the best, I have to charge the tracker about once or twice a week - but it charges quick! also the subscription can be deceptive. the cheapest option is actually for a whole year subscription and there is no option to trial it for a week or month. overall it works great and am happy I bought the tracker!

We have a jumper/explorer who is very important to us. When she roams, it's aq agood to know we can find her. Would really like a better way to secure it to the collar. While out, she squeezes through tight spaces and has "lost"the tracker. We experiment with different ways to place it but nothing has lasted. We really appreciate the update, also. Easier to follow and track.

Generally a good, functional app with some nice activity tracking features. The main issue is a lack of several practical options on how to use features that are already included. Such as: - An option to automatically turn on the sound/light when a pet leaves the virtual fence. - An option to override the battery-saving wifi mode when trying to locate your pet. - An option to force the GPS to relocate rather than waiting for a timed update.

About a 1 in 3 hit rate on the functions of this collar sort of working in ideal circumstances. Even with strong wifi connection and cell signal, the collar functions usually don't respond to the app. The app status of the light and sound functions is also completely unreliable, so I have no faith it would work in a scenario where I actually needed to find my dog. Luckily these are secondary to gps location, which gives consistently mediocre tracking, but is mostly sufficient if in cell range.

Sketchy coverage. Even if app is within a foot of the tracker, it can't be found. Live updates don't work consistently. Can't trust the app to give reliable information. Trackers Can't find wireless networks next to the wireless router. Sounds on trackers are worthless. Waste of money. Full of frustration.
