It takes a bit to start but new features are awesome
Go to for remote desktop currently, with the latest update as of writing 7/7/23. Smooth experience so and far excellent tracking with smooth transitions. Not a laggy mess since the last update.
I have a pixel 5 with a battery that lasts about 3 days. This new version drains my battery at about 3% per minute and my phone gets crazy hot. The remote session is always so laggy and unresponsive that it's almost unusable. The cursor moves randomly by itself. Google absolutely killed this app. I rolled the app version back to 79.3945.26 from January 2020 and disabled auto updates so it's usable again.
Key board function hard to access. Little to no instruction guide. Buyer beware!
This app used to be great and easy to use. The recent changes have completely ruined it. This is what happens when to try to fix something that is not broken. They fixed it until it was broken.
New update caused this app to be completely useless. It either doesn't load at all or takes a long time to do so. It's just a waste of time to even download/try this app in its current state.
