It uses the Chromium engine (which powers Google Chrome) with built in privacy features. It is also getting better with every update and allows syncing bookmarks across your devices through anonymized connections rather than setting up a user profile. They also added a cryptocurrency wallet to the desktop version, so my guess is they will port it to mobile soon.
Running S20Plus 5G Android 11, Racked up against the other top hitters far as fast browsers, enabling "speed mode" in APUS browser puts it ahead of chrome, opera, and other browsers with data compression tech. Of course the only one still on the top, Puffin Browser, #1 fastest browser for Android. Only downside is there is no desktop mode for puffin, and you can only download to an external sd card. if you're looking for browser extensions, (addons) Kiwi browser is all you got on Android. :(
Great browser. Blazing fast page loading and rendering testing on high speed 30mbps+ connection. Sure it has ads. The difference in this browser and the crappy ad free ones without ads is they need money for support and maintenance and to give us the fastest speed from the servers etc. Great job developers. Keep it up.
It's a good browser for when you have bad internet or are close to your data cap, as it blocks images. The ads integrated into the app don't appear to use much data either. However, sharing webpages with the button doesn't work, you have to manually copy the link from the top. The app is good for if you want to browse the internet without running into your data cap.
When you delete a file from the browser's download section, you see that the files still exist🤕 When rename of the movie when downloading, the name of the movie does not change in the gallery and only the name changes in the download section of the program ☹ However, it has an accurate and fast search 🙃

I have been downloading web browsers all day trying to find one with the download features I want. I thought when I downloaded your app my troubles were over but your downloader sucks. It starts downloading and then fails. This happens on every file and these are files I know for a fact will download in other browsers. Fix your downloader so it works and notify me when you do, I may come back. This app has a lot of potential if you get I working properly.

Did seem fast, i'll give it that, but i clicked on maybe 4 pages on a site i know very well does not, never has, and never will use ads and Asus popped up an ad on every page. Chrome, Firefox, Yandex, Ecosia, Dolphin, Opera, Maxthon, none of them ever managed to get an ad or pop-up on that site, Asus 4 in less than 5 minutes.
I wanted to download a vid which this did (it was slow as hell, but it worked) but no matter how many times I disable the unwanted features like weather reports from places ive never been or will never go and the screen saver that locks your phone randomly whilst playing apps or making calls they turn themselves back on, meaning this app seems to have more control over MY device than me!! Avoid! Theres far less invasive apps that can download...
Historically, I've been faithful to APUS. This app changed my mind permanently. Every time I try to search I get game ads & have to wait 5 sec before I can exit it. 'Ad Block Plus' does not work at all. Loss of control & forced permissions of personal info warrants immediate uninstallation. Download crapped out once & I couldn't find a downloaded file once without a file manager. Much prefer 'CM Browser', 'Adblock Browser', 'Internet for Samsung' & any one of the five Firefox browsers available.
