I love Genius Scan, it has not let me down. I've been using this App for at least 5 years if not longer. I use it to upload and share important and unimportant documents to online forms or other applications. I really appreciate that it can automatically scan, you can manually crop the scan, as well as reorder the pages, and uploading to your storage of choice. I highly recommend!

I have reviewed a lot of scanners and Genius Scan stands out as one of the best. It would knock all the others out of the park with a few additions to the free version. These are features that other top free scanner apps provide: 1. Allow the user to spesify the file save location including in an sd card. 2. Provide OCR. These additions to the free version would make it world class.

The OCR part works fairly well as long as the images have a White Background, and a Black Foreground (text). It's useless on Black (dark) backgrounds, White (Light) Foreground (text). Because of this limitation, an Invert Filter is highly needed. The existing filters lacks much needed adjustment slider bars. And the plus version is on the pricey side, especially having the issues I mentioned above.
