Over the past few weeks, I have noticed that Google assistant voice commands have stopped working. When I checked the settings, I noticed that the voice match setting was turned off. When I try and reactivate the setting, it turns off again instantly, Sometimes it will stay on for a day but then turns itself off automatically again not sure how to fix this.

Just this past week I have found that my Google Assistant shortcut on my Android phone is not working. It keeps telling me to go to the Play Store and upgrade but when I go to the Play Store it just shows that it's installed and there are no updates. Hoping you are looking into this and that there is a fix for it soon. I tried using the email address you have listed here and my email was returned saying the email address is no longer monitored... how wonderful considering it was meant to get.

Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. I'm now getting the "upgrade your Google app to use assistant" message (all apps are up to date) and can't use the Assistant phone app at all anymore. Have uninstalled and reinstalled with no success. In general I'm pretty disappointed with the Google Home suite, but it's definitely a 3WP and at least I can still use my speakers for the weather and whatnot.

Was using AndroidAuto until it stopped working for phone. Now I have to use Assistant, they said. Where's the nice big clock and the blue screen? It does a fair job of answering and placing calls. I can legally text while driving if it's hands free. At first, the text was typed in a tiny screen. (!) Now it's not read at all. Just asks for my response. To what? Couldn't find a corrective setting. Now assistant comes on all the time. Annoying. I only need voice commands for driving.

this "replacement" for Android auto is unusable. Auto worked well and automatically activated when car turned on. Mini map was great to avoid traffic, music commands great for preferred player. My car was previously connected (older 2015, but connected). It still connects since music plays via BTA, but either app "recognize" or will pair with car. Assistant does not respond to voice commands, nor does it stay on when needed. Screen goes dark, phone locks, so not useful when in traffic.

It stops working. Requests to be updated, but will not update. Other apps, even other google apps work, update, phone, Google's own Pixel 4a on Google Fi's Unlimited Plus plan, everything turned on, everything updated, has latest OS, and works otherwise. Experience with Assistant is very frustrating. I'm 1km from the tower, at full bars, it tells me to check my connection. Not what I'd expect from a leading tech company.

Assistant has a major bug! It requires me to download the most updated version of Google - which I already have!! When I open the app, it requires me to go the Google play store to update Google search app - which only has two options of open or uninstall. I've gone through and uninstalled and reinstalled the entire Google suite but with no luck. When it was working, it was an amazing app that I heavily used. Way better than Siri but it needs to be fixed.
