Root: Better car insurance

Don't know about the insurance itself as I haven't had to actually use their app is so basic that l just know everyone using their app is seeing the exact same things. I just actual personalize information, like about my driving habits, for instance.

Not good insurance, I was paying for maximum covers on multiple vehicles, but as it turns out they won't cover actual value on my fairly new vehicle. They also continue to raise my rates even though my CS is 720. Edit- yes, I spoke to the customer support team, and they offered me suggestions for increasing my already maxed coverage, but that doesn't help what's already been done. Second edit- no, I certainly won't need anything else, I already found better insurance, for nearly $900 less!

Used to be decently priced. After leaving them a few years ago, I thought I'd come get a quote. Literally twice the price Progressive is charging me now. What a joke.

Terrible they ceep track of driving even when your not the one driving Then raise your rate sky high. The app is rigged to cheat

Good company for a while. In the past year they've increased my rate almost 50% explaining they couldn't find information in my insurance report. My family made no claims and got no tickets during this time, soI obtained my report and provided it to Root and was basically told to kick rocks. I'm finding a different insurance provider. I recommend avoiding Root
