I have tried several times to use this app. I have updated and installed numerous times. Cleared out cache data. I'm very unhappy. I have sent several emails and messages to customer support about the problem. Even tried troubleshooting it on the web. Nothing worked. If I could completely Uninstall the app, I would!

So I had the note 9 since it came out and LOVED Samsung pay! It was definitely a super power to use absolutely anywhere I went. I never had to carry my cards around and lose them, I was just extremely satisfied. I decided recently to upgrade to the s22 ultra in fear of them never making a note phone again. When I went to try and use my super power, I was finally defeated and wondered what was wrong. I found out Samsung decided to take it away from me. No MST anymore. Thank God I still have my 9!

Paying with gift cards no longer works. After scanning fingerprint or typing in pin, nothing happens. Thanks Samsung, I'd like the ability to use all the gift cards I have loaded up on here. Update: You must go into the app, then settings, then reset app. Your saved gift cards will reload automatically when you sign back in. Cash back $ is saved as well. Credit cards are saved, but you'll have to go in and reverify them. Samsung should have this posted in their release notes for the new ver

Stopped working when I switched from my Note 10+ to Galaxy Fold 3. My cards transferred to my new Fold 3 but it had to be activated. When I tried to activate it kept getting "failed to register". I deleted all the cards & re-register them as new but I still kept getting the "failed to register" error. Now I am unable to use this feature. I loved the Samsung Pay feature when it worked. It was great because it worked where I was told by vendors it wouldn't work. Then they took that feature out.

No MST payment anymore (on S22 Ultra)! What's the point of using Samsung Pay anymore?! The only advantage it had over competitors was being able to pay at all those regular terminals with no NFC, and I would have used it if it didn't have the feature from the beginning, but removing such a cool feature is an absolute deal breaker. During COVID, I used the MST all the time for contactless payments and quite frankly for its ease of use, not having to reach for my card, which I can't anymore.

Better Days

Doesn't work on my galaxy s22+. I never had a problem on my old phone, but I can't get past the opening page, when I click "get started", the icon spins and then stops, and I clock get stated again, same thing. If I can't use the app then it's worthless to keep on the phone. Was good when it worked

It works great on my Note 20 Ultra again. After the February 2022 update, had to follow advice from another user to make it stop turning the credit cards just briefly after fingerprinting - not long enough to complete a transaction. His advice is to open the app, go to settings, tap on reset app. It worked! My prior Samsung rewards card automatically populated with the same $ balance. My membership card populated as well. Had to add back credit cards and reactivate them. Still enjoying it!

Great upon first deployment, but when switching to a new phone, it runs into problems. It is uncertain whether it is the Capital One app or the APIs on the financial institution side. There is no way to tell, so it gets four stars. If there were no problems upon transfer to a new phone, it would get five stars.

No longer works. After scanning my fingerprint, nothing happens. I removed my fingerprint and re-added it and nothing changed. I am using a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra on the T-Mobile Network. I'm assuming this app just needs an update to become compatible again. I'll fix the review as soon as it's fixed. Thanks!

Loved it until it stopped working... it worked flawlessly until I installed the most recent Samsung software update. Now when I scan my fingerprint or enter my pin the digital image of the card I'm trying to use will turn briefly and reset back to the pay screen. Very frustrating. I'll update my review once they've fixed whatever was broken with the new software update.
