This app sucks. 5 times it spent over 3 hours transferring from one phone to the other. And I don't know what it transferred because most of what I have on my old phone isn't on the new phone. I used this app once before and it worked great. It transferred everything and even put everything in the exact same place on me new phone as the old one. But not this time. It won't even transfer 1/4 of my stuff. I don't know what happened to it, but it sucks now.

Going from note 20 to S22. It will not even show the option to transfer photos from the SD card. It transfers video but photos is not on the list. I have tried multiple times and have screenshots I can share to prove it. This was one of the main reasons I need smart switch for. Also, the Samsung pass didn't transfer and I had to manually export from note and import into new phone.

This App doesn't show updated progress of the data transfer. More than 40 minutes ago the phone said there were 37 minutes left and status is not changing. If there is any problem in the transfer, they should tell that as well. The way things are, I don't know if the process is almost done, is stuck or what. How can you call yourselves engineers?

Crashes on my PC. You had a working version then forced me to update it on my PC. Now I have 4.3.22053_2, and when I plug my phone into my PC, Smart Switch crashes on the PC. The window just disappears. I can no longer back up my phone. I downloaded the new version on my phone too, and it didn't help. Wish I could give zero stars, because after years of trying, you had one that worked. Now you've broken it.

Complete garbage, transferring files from my old S8 to A53 5G takes forever. I tried over 10 hours to move any thing over to no avail. It would start off pretty quickly then the progress would slow down exponentially, with every 0.1% taking longer than the one before. This happens to any files and folders, from 200MB to 9GB, making it impossible to move anything over. The time estimate is completely useless as well. Trash.

Copies apps but none of the data. My last phone had ~200GB used on it yet only 50GB was actually transferred. I've used the app several times for phone replacements or upgrades and every time it tells me it "transferred ALL of your data" but I'm still signing in to every single app again, having to manually copy over files and info from all the apps, etc. It gets frustrating having to manually put in login info for a bunch of systems when the app data containing it should have carried over.

I'm changing my review. Everything that I thought hadn't transferred, actually transferred without issue. It just took a while and each app had to be automatically reinstalled after the initial process had completed. I started with a new phone and one with maxed out storage so it taking a while was expected. The entire process was over 4 hours, but that includes various updates and such.. overall it was a good experience and the app worked perfectly. Thank you.

After the last update I can't see videos I recorded myself of my service fur baby. It's just gray. Also my contacts doesn't show all contacts like at the right side it used to show a letter from A to Z. I could touch the letter I was trying to find like S for Sam. Now the letters on the right side of contacts are gone. When I text for a group I am administrator over it only shows part of my message. I'm so upset with this app. You did a update 3days ago and that's what I'm facing. See just stopp

Absolute waist of time! I've been using smart switch for 5 years! I've never had an issue with it until now. My wifi is perfectly fine. It connects to everything else just fine, but it WILL not connect with this app. I've been trying to connect with wifi for 2 hours now! PLEASE DO NOT download this app!!!! It will just aggravate you!

Absurdly complicated app that works when it is in the mood and doesn't work whenever it feels like it. The regular android-provided facility to switch from an old phone to a new one is so much better and more reliable. Unfortunately, Samsung hijacks the process as soon as you try to set up a new Samsung phone, not allowing the regular android process to even kick in. Total waste of time and makes setting up a new phone unnecessarily complicated and time-consuming.
