Ulasan untuk Secure Folder
Great app. Works just like it is designed to. Make sure to go into settings INSIDE the secure folder to make any changes, like disabling push notifications to your phone. It is not a private folder if your phone displays an update for a hidden folder, which would now be known to exist to anyone looking at your phone. You can unlock with pattern or combination AND fingerprint or iris.
Love this app, however it could be greatly improved. The notifications are a bit buggy, and we need more options for notifications. For example, I wish there was an option for it to not show notifications at all unless the secure folder was on, and whenever I turned it off the notifications would be removed from the screen and be shown as soon as a turn the folder back on. I also wish apps like spotify were allowed. If those things were added I think it would be a perfect app.
One of my favorite Samsung features. It would be perfect IMO if they added two features. Number one, the ability to backup your secure folder contents when making a backup with Smart Switch. You can already password protect the backups and I think you can encrypt them as well. So I don't see why not. Number two it would be awesome if you could use your MicroSD card to store your secure folder stuff. But I can understand if this isn't possible because it might rely on hardware on the phone.
It's still disappointing to me that Samsung removed stock functionality in the ability to add multiple user profiles to their phones. It doesn't make sense even if "no one uses it" because it's already there in Android by default. Just let us no ones use it. I'm glad that secure folder exists as a kind of work around though. It's easy to use and easy to access but unfortunately also easy to exit. It feels like a major flaw that just tapping the home button takes you out of SF altogether, meaning you have to relaunch the SF app nearly every time you want to switch apps within SF (this wouldn't be a problem if we could just make a separate work profile) Now I just have to keep looking for a work around for my work around.
My secure folder is for all the stuff I don't want anyone else to see and it does great with that. However, if I want to send a pic or vid to my bf, I have to remove it from secure folder, send it, then put it back...that slow, tedious process SUCKS. Additionally, I want to have all the stuff in my secure folder to be saved on my DD card to free up internal storage but there is only one way to do that...one by one removal and replacing. In this fast paced world, who has time for that?
Absolutely ridiculous to use. Accidentally synced with the wrong account and it was SUCH a hastle to get one account off my phone and connect another one. Had to log in multiple places TO SIGN OUT. And then fully remove the app. Can't get it back now. Says it's installed, and it's totally integrated with the OS so you think it would be, but the app cannot be located or found. Absolutely ridiculous.
At one point I really enjoyed Secure Folder. It was like another phone within a phone, and I could set up a seperate home screen with sensitive apps and links. But updated my phone to Android Pie, which updated Secure Folder as well, and they completely gutted it. Now it's just an app drawer just like the app list and any links made with a browser go to the regular side of the phone making the whole thing seem pointless! Why did they destroy something so great!? Wishing I could revert back!
Terrible app. Don't use it if you want to keep your files. It's great at securing your photos, videos and files but then it's also great at losing them. I think it's during an update but all my files and photos keep disappearing and the app acts like it's the first time asking me to setup a pattern/pin/password.
I don't get it. The app is supposed to give us a sense of security by allowing its users an option to hide files and app from view. Except every app that I've added (and the default apps) are automatically added to my full app list along with the original app. Except these are clearly shown as being secured. I can't figure out a way to actually hide the so-called hidden apps. Defeats the whole purpose.
This app sucks. I don't want it off my phone. Apps should not be pre-download, or automatically downloaded unless it's for the basics, like keypad, calculator, clock, etc... Also don't trust a "Secure Folder", since the phone company can look at everything in your phone whenever they want. They say they don't, but you know they spy. This Secure Folder does nothing but lose stuff. And with the new update that is also horrible, won't let me select apps to add to my homescreen and phone got slower.
