Not sure how I can edit my previous review, so here is an update... They fixed the crashing issue quickly and now the app is very useful again. Good job! The only missing feature now is to display (only to the user, of course) the location of the place where I scanned each wine!

Generally a good app. They need to do a better job managing and clearing the cash because the app basically freezes after about 5 to 10 pictures with notes. You have to clear the cash and reopen the app in order to continue. Not too sure about how they like to push wine sales on customers but generally enjoy capturing a digital representation of the wines I've enjoyed over the years.

Cool app, great for infrequent wine drinkers such as myself to make sure you get something decent on the couple of occasions you buy some. The filtering seems a bit broken though, e.g. when you sort on highest rating, the results starts high, then low, then high again. Seems to be wrongly implemented in combination with lazy loading.

I've only used it to look up wines. for that purpose I'm fairly well satisfied. The number of emails Vivino sends is more than a bit irritating, both because of the frequency and also the content. Guys: I live in Utah. I can't buy the wines you're advertising. You can't ship them to me and the state carries what it carries. Your technology should make opting out of ads easier for geographically challenged users!

This is almost a really good app. It does the hard stuff well and then messes up no-brainer stuff. It is uncanny how well it recognizes a bottle from a photo of the label. But, cellar management is clunky. - Exported data is wrong - Can't sort by winery - Searching by winery doesn't find all their wines - Alphabetical sort is not alphabetical. - Should be able to filter by more than one attribute - Should have a condensed view of cellar for easier review (Replying to Vivino's reply: I have reached out to customer support, but potential users should know these limitations.)

Very useful app, it is fantastic at recognizing a wine from the label. But the database is flawed and near impossible to rectify. For example, if it recognizes your wine, but one of the details is incorrect (such as reporting a Canadian winery is in the USA) or the grape mix is incomplete, there's no easy way to fix or at least report the error. There is an "ask the expert" feature, but these "experts" don't rectify the errors. Update June 2022 The user interface is getting worse.

I like the app but doesn't work well, very hard to take the picture, can't add a wine when the wine is not previously there (looks like you can but then doesn't show your rate), the aromas option is all mixed, I liked it when when it was organized by category, and is all very slow. When trying a wine most likely we are with people, don't want to spend too long in my phone and this app doesn't help much about it!

I absolutely loved this app before some recent updates. Now, when I try to edit my 'log', I can't see what I'm typing because the new drop-downs cover the writing space. Maybe this is just a problem with Android phones?? This issue seriously limits the app now!

Used to be a good app, but now it's just annoying when it takes over your screen to install a non-existent update, that usually comes along a week after the first red screen appears. Suggestions to remove the annoyance have gone unheard (contacted via the app) UPDATE (1/21) - Took over my phone 10 times over the course of 2 weeks to prompt for a non-existent update :-/

App is seriously the best. But then why the one star review. They ship Fedex so now I have wine being unable to be delivered to my address inside of a city because Fedex is incompetent. I'm trying to get in touch with Vivino to see if they can help but nobody is available for 2 days. Why do companies still ship with Fedex? Whhhhyyyyyy
