Reluctant to hit the Chrome icon instead of the Google icon at first, but after a short time, I've seen the advantages. LOVE the way the different "pages" you have open are easily accessible on the current "page" so you can navigate between pages quickly and easily. Also, I've found that the search results tend to bring up results that are more relevant, with the information you enter. Chrome is instinctively my "go to" search engine now.

It's reliable and offers a lot of options. Some good stuff is more secure than others, depending on the app or the available settings and services of them. In comparison to other browsers, depending on the privacy a person wants or the info that is needed to be saved and to where, Chrome would be my main go-to. It's a struggle because I love the Samsung browser, but the apps and products with Chrome/Google still at the top.

Super terrible. As soon as I open it, it lags and then freezes up. Terrible. I also get way too many ads, either reduce the amount or take ads out completely, or simply make the app run smoother and for the love of others, make the app actually not freeze every 10 seconds of opening it. Chrome frequently doesn't work on my Android 12 tablet. I get a blank black screen with a (non-working) search bar at the top. Everything except the scipt for the search bar and top buttons is blacked out. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Could not uninstall, had to disable it instead but lost all my saved links. Also, cannot get into Settings to retrieve my saved passwords to use in another browser - deduct a point for that. It only gets 2 pts bc randomly works sometimes.

Keeps automatically closing my incognito tabs. I leave my device for a few hours with Chrome locked to keep open. I come back, usually after work, and they're all gone. Apparently the whole app restarted. I know it's not due to an update since it still is impending. It isn't RAM related either since it's just Chrome. Annoying and frustrating. Firefox doesn't do this.

A few months ago I switched to the native Samsung browser on my S21 Ultra. I recently switched back to Chrome to compare the two. I have to say that I prefer the Samsung browser. I does a much better job of stopping pop-ups and redirects. Adds are far less intrusive as well. I know revenue is what keeps "free" browsers available but Google just isn't doing a good job. In fact, the only time I use Chrome now is if Samsung has a hard time with making a payment. Google def needs to step it up.

Before, if I were to use a single word to describe Chrome, it would have been "convenient". For managing across multiple OSs, grouping tabs, and extensions (on the desktop). Now, the word I'd use is "ads". From the large square ads that appear on almost every other paragraph, to the ads that appear to the top and/or bottom of the screen, and to ads that appear when going from one page to another. At first I thought it was the website itself, but this seems to occur only when using Chrome.

Since the latest update something has happened to the overview banner that displays after a search for a business/restaurant/etc. Where before there were buttons that would link you to a phone number, maps and a website now there is nothing. I hope this is a bug and not a design choice as that would be a shame. This feature was one of the most helpful things about Chrome. I hope this can be resolved.

I perform a Google search, click on one of the results of the search and it does not take me to the website, it takes me to a Google version of the website (due to Google and its advertising) that is slow, freezes, and does not load the entire article/page. I click the back button and then right click on the same link and use "open in a new tab/group" (either works), I go to the actual website that I was trying to visit, but the page loads flawlessly without Google ads interference. Bye Google.

Pages don't fully load anymore or they freeze. For the past several weeks my Chrome browser doesn't work properly. It will no longer load an entire page, only a partial page and the rest is blank. Also, it freezes on certain pages such as Bored Panda articles. Also, ads are huge and take up large parts of the screen now and cover articles. There's also no longer a way to report that an ad covers content. It all renders Chrome browser useless.
