Ulasan untuk My Data Manager: Data Usage
The BEST data app in my opinion. I've gone through a dozen or more that just couldn't make the grade. The overage alarm is simple to set up and works flawlessly. There's another app that works in tandem called "Netify". It notifies you when Mobile Data kicks in after you lose your WiFi connection. Both generate pop-up notifications and audible alarms. AND you can select any alarm sound. Check out "Zedge" for that. Look to make sure it's not installed on your SD card - it might not work there.
Not bad, but i'd love to have ability to setup a "high usage alert" where i could give it amount of data over time to alert me on - say 100MB in 1hr. Many times I had a phone stay on mobile data, either because I did not turn on wifi, or something with wifi went wrong - and i ended up using way more data than i wanted. If this feature is not there (I might have missed it?) it would be a great add to otherwise very good app. I am using it on android 9 with googleFI.
Very happy I'm not a very tech savvy person but I was able to figure this app out and its pretty flipping close to what my cable company is saying. Now that they're using by the gig and yes a terabyte for me 3 months ago I wasn't even close to that much now all of a sudden I'm going over, so I needed something that's independent from my cable company and this worked just fine. Thank you
This works so much better than the included AT&T app and gives an actual breakdown by application, showing exactly which app is using how much data. I wish it could sync to my data plan (so it could tell how much data has been used by my actual cellular data plan), but that is a wish and not a complaint. This is a great and very appreciated app!
This app is almost perfect and exactly what I was looking for (even better than the Google data app). If possible, could you set up a "whitelisting" filter to exclude selected apps to not be counted for data uaed.? Other then that, you guys are awesome, thanks for hard work and keeping it simple.
I like the alarms. They help keep me from bumping up against the monthly data limit. Also, the widget is handy to have on the home screen. It would be nice if they would change the colors on the Mobile Usage part of the widget. There needs to be more distinction between how much data has been used and the total amount available. It would be helpful if there were a way to go to a particular day in the HISTORY part of the app rather than having to scroll through the entire time period.
Meh, Nice, convenient, but i can do the same thing with the built in data management. Maybe I'm missing something here, data management it's not. Sure it shows what apps are consuming data, but you cannot tell it to turn off the data for a specific app. Unless I missed something. Also don't need another app running in the background using battery. Guess the only way you can stop data leakage is to put the phone in airplane mode. Just my 2 cents.
Loved this app until an update where you keep putting an icon at the top left of my screen. As well as when I pull down for notifications it now always shows the big data usage bar, that takes up two lines. It used to have a single line and if you wanted to see the bar you pull down on it. I don't need to see my data usage bar every single time I'm in notifications. Went back to an older version of your app and there is actually an option to get rid of that icon in the top left of the screen, that you have seemed to removed that option
Doesn't do what I wanted it to do. Honestly I can't figure out what it does at all. Sure, it lets me put in my data plan and notify me when I'm at whatever percent, but Android can do that anyway without an app. I wanted something to set an individual app that uses too much data and lock it down so it can't access data at all. Preferably without turning off anything else so I can still get texts and stuff. But no, it can't do that. Can't even find the game in the list of installed apps.
Updated app and have lost data stats and plan multiple times now. Extremely inconvenient when I can't rejoin the plan my phone was main. This means everyone needs to rejoin a new plan when a new one is created. Very inconvenient, makes the app unreliable and essentially useless. Very disappointed. Losing data is the difference between 1 and 5 stars.
